Always a first for everything. Although this would be my 16th marathon - it's my first marathon I'm running for a cause. And what a great cause it is. Cancer is one of the number 1 killers worldwide. I'm going to dedicate every kilometre of this marathon to raise much needed money for cancer research. I'm running in support of Cancer Council Queensland and I'm hoping to raise at least $1000 for this cause. I'm appealing to all my family, friends and acquaintences across the globe to join me in my efforts. Now, I know of better than to ask any of you or even to expect any of you guys to run this marathon with me, but this would be a neat way for you to get involve and be part of my 'pain'.
