Belle is half a year old now. She'd started daycare and totally loves it. She had also started commando crawling and moves all over the place. She sure knows how to keep us on our toes. She continues to grow beautifully and meets all the milestones for her age.

On this day I was born, many moons ago. I went for my morning run with my new hydration pack, had my eyebrows shaped and even did a BodyPump class in the afternoon. Just an ordinary day ended with dinner at a family restaurant, me, my bub, my beau and my friend Michaela. In the past I always had something special planned. A marathon, bungee jumping or a visit abroad. Does things have to change once a baby is in the picture? I don't think it should. I want to keep my individuality and incorporate it in my daughter's upbringing.
I have a few great books to tell you about in my book forum. I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to read 4 books in the last 6 months (with baby in the house). The books are 'A woman of no importance' (Kate Konopicky), NOVA: My story (The autobiography of Nova Peris), Eat Pray Love (Elizabeth Gilbert) as seen on Oprah and The measure of a man (Sidney Poitier) also seen on Oprah. It's amazing how quick time flies. My baby is 5 months old and I'm back to work in 4 weeks time and my baby off to daycare. I'm trying not to dwell on that and just enjoy my time with little Belle. Daddy's off to work from tomorrow, so for the first time it'll just be the two of us. We're becoming a bit more social now. We went to a Rhyme time session for babies at the library last week and this week we'll be going to a Koochi Koo morning tea. Belle even went to the gym with me, even though she wasn't too impress with the creche. On Saturday we'll be joining the mayor and all other new babies at a Welcome Babies Ceremony where Belle will be officially welcomed to the city. We had confirmation that Belle's Aussie passport had been processed and we should receive it soon.

It's the month March. There's alot of birthday celebrations going on in March. A few special people worth mentioning are:
4th - Margo: Have a good one sausage.
7th - My sisters, Sheron and Dianne. Thinking of you guys... always.
8th - An old school friend, Joan. All the best. Hope you are well.
9th - Elroy. How's life as a dad treating you. Get in touch.
11th - My cousin Denise. Have a wonderful day.
Johan Herman also on the 11th. Wherever you are, take care of yourself.
14th - Madge, Fitness instructor at Living Well gym in the UK. Hope you still have that spunk. Miss your classes.
15th - Michaela. I'm sure we'll be doing something fun.
17th - Darling Chipo. All the best, and hope the boys will spoil you on your special day.
18th - Me, of course. Will have to start hinting to Thomas as to what I want for a gift.

Our little blue eye sweetiepie is 4 months old. She's such a joy in our lives. She's becoming very curious and gets frustrated if she can't move forward. So, because it's more difficult for her to learn the art of crawling she slides upwards on her back. She's very fascinated with her daddy. She likes following him around the room with her eyes. So you can imagine feeding time and daddy is not in her direct vision. She also likes touching faces now. She touches my face and I could swear she actually said 'mamma' the other day, but then of course it was only me in the room, and no-one else heard it.

Our darling Belle turned 3 months on the 2nd of Jan. She's continuing to grow beautifully. She's absolutely gorgeous and it's such a joy to see her personality and character emerges and develops every day. She'd discovered her voice of late, making very high pitched screetching sounds when she's not happy about one thing or another. She has quite a grip when she gets hold of something and mommy's hair is constantly under attack. Maybe she's trying to tell me something. She also prefers sleeping on her tummy these days, and turns herself in all sorts of directions in her cot.

It's the year 2008. WOW! I'd been so blessed in 2007, therefore I'm not planning on making any promises for 2008, except to be happy and stay healthy. I wish all my family, friends and acqaintances only the best for 2008. Make it your best year ever. Take ownership and make resolutions you can stick to. Be happy and healthy. Looking forward to hear from you all.

Merry Christmas everyone. May this festive season bring you lots more blessings. Enjoy your time with family and friends. To those who mourn a lost one (especially Pauline and family), rejoice in the knowledge that they've gone to a better place and even though we are heartbroken and sad, they are watching over us as our specially appointed guardian angels. Happy holidays everybody, safe journeys and blessings in abundance.

Our lillte Belle is two months old now. It's amazing how time flies. She's continuing to grow into this beautiful precious little princess. She's so adorable and we treasure her. She communicates in her own special way and is energetic and vibrant when she's not asleep. She has her moments where she drives us nuts when she screams and we don't know why, but that's on rare occasions.
It's time I get back in shape and make more of an effort to shake this pregnancy weight. So, wish me luck.

Our darling Belle is one month old. How time flies. She's growing beautifully and although we've not established a routine yet, she's quite a character. She is a very strong presence in our household. I wish we had more of our family around to share in her growth and development.
