Happy New Year everybody. A New Year to start all over. To forget the mistakes of last year and to concentrate on starting afresh. Or will we continue on the same path and hope things will turn out good for us without making an effort. All the best and whatever you set out to do or accomplish this year, may it become a reality for you.

A midst all the chaos that the festive season brings, let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas. It's a time of giving, a time of remembering those in need, it's a special time to spend with family and friends. I got engaged to my Thomas last night, and this is truly a very special time for us as we pledge our commitment and love to each other. Merry Christmas everyone. Take care on the roads and keep safe

Everyday we encounter different challenges, obstacles, people and experiences. How we deal with it or what we learn from it, develop us to be the person we'll become. Encounters can also make us happy or sad. What have you encountered today? How did it shape you?

My sisters and I were brought up in the believe that we should not share each others clothes. I think mainly because it confused the rest of the family. If our hair was in a similar style, we were often called by the wrong name. We have a friend called Louis. Well, he's sort of Sheron's friend, but he's more part of the family than most of our family. If you read the comment on my previous entry, it's from our friend Louis. Louis is a talented and very gifted young man and we're proud of him. He's been with us through some tough times.

Less than 6 weeks to Christmas. Unbelievable!!! What about our challenge? Is it all forgotten or did we settle on a compromise? Did you know that November is the month where men are suppose to grow a moustache and become more aware of men's health issues.

Breast Cancer Awareness |

My childhood memories of the month October is that it was known as 'Dairy month'. Nowadays October is known as 'Breast Cancer' month worldwide. How ironical is it that 'Dairy' has changed to 'Breast'. All around the world people set off for a walk to remember those that had been struck by cancer. We are all reminded that nobody is spared. In memory of all those brave women and their families, we're salute them and write their names on our hearts and mention them in our prayers.
