This month just seems to go on forever. Looking back at interesting events of the month, there's the African Cup of Nations currently in Egypt and the Australian Tennis Open in Melbourne. There are many great sporting events to look forward to this year. The Commonwealth games in Australia and the World Cup Football, just to name a few.

Life is no straight and easy corridor along which we travel free and unhampered, but a maze of passages, through which we must seek our way, lost and confused, now and again checked in a blind alley.
But always, if we have faith, God will open a door for us, not perhaps one that we ourselves would ever have thought of, but one that will ultimately prove good for us.
A.J. Cronin - Who Moved My Cheese

God's Love |

When we look at the world around us, sometimes it's difficult to understand the unfairness of life. It's not fair that the young should suffer. It's not fair that the innocent should go hungry. But nor is it fair that a God would have to come to earth and hang on his own cross to protect us from the evil one. It's not fair...but that's love. And that's God. God's love for you is not dependent on how you look, how you think, how you act, or how perfect you are. His love is absolutely nonnegotiable and nonreturnable. Ours is a faithful God. No matter what you do, no matter how far you fall, no matter how ugly you become, God has a relentless, undying, unfathomable, unquenchable love from which you cannot be separated. Ever!
FATHER, we look at your plan and it's all based on love, n ...

As kids we were told horror stories about Friday the 13th. And we use to believe it. Now it still brings out the aahhh in you, but the fear factor is gone. Happy Friday the 13th everyone. Enjoy it like any other Friday, just because it's the end of the week. Take care

We all have our own personality and it sure differs from the person next to us. If you give it a thought (or two), we all know people with truly great personalities. There are people that's just fun working with or being around with. They always have a smile on their face and a friendlyword or two.I want to salute those people (they know who they are) and I hope that in the near future they will allow me to show their beautiful faces for all to see.

I've always been of the opinion that service means 'a system of providing or delivering', or 'friendly help or professional aid'. I am not a difficult customer or client, because I work in the public service and know how important it is to leave good impressions and keep the 'clients' happy (or satisfied). We went for lunch at a restaurant today and the service was not very good.

One week into 2006 and have we started the path towards our new goals set for this year? Or are you already looking for excuses to get away with what you promised yourself? The weather is certainly not helping, but we should rise above it and persevere. Best of luck!

Be true to yourself. Stick to those new years resolutions and promises you made for 2006. Lets achieve our goals and be proud individuals. Mine is to become very fit and run lots more this year. Check out the extramural activities as to how I'll achieve my goal.
Best of luck in achieving your goals.

As the end of 2005 near, are we taking stock of our losses, gains or are we simply preparing to embrace a new year? We are bound to make new resolutions and promises to ourselves, but how true will we be to those promises? Have I fulfilled my dreams for 2005?
Too many questions.
Here's to everybody wonderful wishes of prosperity and good fortune. May our lives become enriched with new ideas and ideals. I'm looking forward to making new friends, learning new things and having new dreams. Most of all I'm looking forward to make a difference to this world.
Happy new year everybody. Have a great 2006!!!
